I have always had a love of fabrics and
textiles and I am very fidgety, hence the name of this website!
I always have to be doing something, whether it is knitting,
sewing, weaving, felting or even cooking!
All the items on this website are handmade
by myself.
I use a mixture of genuine vintage fabrics,
buttons and ribbons and vintage style fabrics. I also use
many top quality 100% Linen fabrics from makers such as
GP&J Baker, Cath Kidston, Osborn and Little, Anna French
and many others. I also use some recycled materials as well.
All my items state what materials have been used.
Every item I make is unique so you are
buying a 'One-Off'
I live in the gorgeous sea side town
of Hastings, and often get inspiration from my surroundings.
Apart from Hastings my favourite place is Sweden, and I
like to visit as often as possible.
I also get inspiration from Scandinavian
textiles and design and also Japanese fabrics.
I love the feel of fabrics and always
have to touch things when shopping, which makes my friends
very embarrassed when they come shopping with me.
I try where I can to use natural and
recycled materials and the dyes that I use for my yarns
are fully biodegradable.
